...as I was many, many times directed on them, even though my garmin device was set by me to avoid non-tarmac roads. My car's bottom contacted road surface many times and I lost a lot of time, being forced to change my way and asking local people about reasonable route.
I understand that there was no real terrain inspection, yet, someone could at least use the commonly available information from any printed map of Poland. I had an impression that someone had just vectorized a satellite picture.
Is Garmin working on a solution of this problem?

When we put a product together we use the latest data we can get from our vendor, NavTeq. They attribute the roads.
Do you have a specific latitude/longitude or a specific road example? I'll look and see if anything might have changed in...
