Temat: Good colleges for majoring in marine biology?
.... It's my first choice school, and I have some-what of a prayer. I have to take the SATs again, according to my guidence counselor, because a 2240 isn't good enough... Eh... Anyhow, </endrant>. And it doesn't hurt to START looking around now, but you're way ahead of the game. Start testing the waters. Get a list of around 50 colleges that have programs you like (maybe more, maybe less), and then start narrowing them down. (Geographic location, religious affiliation, SAT score ranges, size of the school, location in respect to a city, whether they have a band, whatever you want in a college.) You'll eventually come up with a list of 10-20 schools that you want to look further into. And then you can start visiting places and requesting information... A visit is really important in any school. For instance, I was seriously looking into UC Santa Cruz, until I went there. Now it's WAY off my list, because of a TON of reasons... and I wouldn't...

...their right to use their free time as they wish, even after they do their first edit or submittal. The rest of their life, before or after they do something for the ODP, still belongs to them -- some of them may even engage in business, charity, or even website promotion in that time, not to mention eating, sleeping, and surfing. So in this respect I don't think your new site could have much advantage over the ODP. As for sneering at the intelligence of our editors, I'll see your SAT score and spot you 200 points. And ... in the internal forums I sometimes wonder how they slipped up and let me in -- the community includes a wealth of knowledge, freely made available, that IMO deserves respect if not awe.
