Temat: Question about resolution & actual screen size
...but they're not quite as big as what I'm getting on Plex, more screen space is being used. Is this a setting that I can tweak in the rip and/or plex (and not via smushing things out by stretching)? Or is this just me not really understanding the fundamentals of aspect ratios and such? Edit: I should give some of the details of my setup: I'm using a 50" 720p tv, and transcoding the DVDs using the 'high preset' on handbrake. I'm comparing it to a samsung hd-dvd player (which sadly hasn't played too many actual HD-DVDs :rolleyes:)
